But first, I have to go through final midterms and all that jazz.

On the bright side, though, Florida Supercon is getting closer! (And it stars the day after school ends!) I went last year and had a great time, but my camera lost battery power so I wasn't able to take any pictures. I'm hoping it won't die on me this year...

Last year I wore my 'Optimus Prime 4 President' t-shirt and got a nice compliment from a fellow fan ("That shirt is f****** awesome!", or something like that.) This year I'll wear some of my other nerd shirts - maybe my 'Megatron for President' shirt. LOL, I'm so ambiguous. I was considering going in a costume, but I neither have the time nor the know-how to make one.

One thing I'm going to do differently this year that I'm going to check the quality and authenticity of the stuff I buy. Last year, I unintentinally bought a knock-off DVD copy of the whole Transformers: Victory cartoon; my dad was the one who recognized it as a fake when mom and I got home later. I probably should've seen that it wasn't genuine considering the low quality of the photo-copied cover and that the DVD discs smelled pungently of burning plastic. I haven't watched them yet, since I don't really know what the quality of it is (sigh)...

So let that be a lesson to you kiddies: Make sure you know what you're buying before you buy it, or else you'll find out later that you really shouldn't have bought it at all.
